Kaleta & Steiner
GEOMETRYART workshop was established at the beginning of 2014. It was created by two friends who were united by a passion for creation: Robert Kaleta (born in 1958 in Kielce, Poland).- visual artist, painter, computer graphic designer and Artur Steiner (born in 1962 in Kielce, Poland).- architectural modeller, audio engineer.
From dreams to actions
Inspirations for artists, which are usually hidden in their subconscious, only need to be brought out. If they are given a proper form, shape and colour, an artist will be able to communicate their feelings. At the beginning of the 90's Robert Kaleta was searching for a way to demonstrate his manner of perceiving the world. The pursuit lasted many years. It took shape and evolved. Though many works and projects were made there was still something missing. And then Artur Steiner came into the picture. He managed not only to find the way to revive Robert's dormant ideas but also start a new chapter in art and create something unique.
Close to the viewer
Oakwood constitutes the main material in the process of creating the works. The lumber is primarily covered with natural veneers. The next phase is proofing it with linseed oil, while the final stage consists in giving the wood nobility by waxing. What makes the works unique is that they are hand-made only.
